Our agency is looking for a junior SEO specialist to join the team - it's a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn more about SEO from a talented full-service team with exposure to all aspects of the SEO process.

The ideal candidate will have some experience with agency-related work in the past - it can be paid, content marketing, or any other client-facing role and is interested in transitioning into an SEO position.

We will teach you our full-service approach to SEO and build up your skillset to be a strong SEO specialist.

This is a contract position on a freelance basis.

Must be based in the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and implementing effective SEO strategies for clients

  • Assist in developing and executing off-page optimization strategies, including link-building and outreach.

  • Onboard & Integrate SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Business Profile, SEO plugins, etc. 

  • Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for improving search engine rankings and increasing organic traffic

  • Optimize website content and structure to improve user experience and search engine visibility

  • Conduct on-page optimization, including title tags, meta descriptions, header tags, and internal linking

  • Monitor and analyze website traffic and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement

  • Discuss SEO performance, results, and recommendations with clients 

  • Provide support for Local SEO campaigns

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and search engine algorithms

Qualifications

  • 1 or more years in client/customer-facing roles

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms and best practices in SEO

  • Experience with WordPress and other content management systems

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proven track record of improving search engine rankings and driving organic traffic to websites
