Description of the role Tutor Doctor - North County San Diego is seeking a highly qualified and passionate Tutor to join our team. As a High School English Tutor, you will be responsible for providing 1:1 personalized, in-home tutoring services to high school students in Carlsbad, Oceanside and Vista. Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions with high school students, specifically focusing on English subjects.
• Use student's materials from their apps/ homework/tests to review and determine areas where student is struggling.
• Assist students in enhancing their reading, writing, grammar, and comprehension skills.
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to help them succeed academically.
• Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in English or at minimum, 2 years of undergraduate work in language art.
• Proven experience as a tutor or teacher, preferably in high school English.
• Excellent knowledge of English language, grammar, and literature.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient and able to work with students of various learning abilities.
