Job Description

Position: Sales Representative

As a Sales Representative for AireCom, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base within the commercial sector. Leveraging your expertise in HVAC systems and your sales acumen, you will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing sales opportunities while building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development : Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial HVAC market. Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
  • Sales Strategy : Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share. Collaborate with the sales team and management to refine sales strategies and ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Consultative Selling : Understand the specific HVAC requirements of clients and present tailored solutions that address their needs effectively. Provide expert advice and guidance on the selection of HVAC systems, upgrades, and maintenance plans.
  • Customer Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in commercial organizations. Regularly engage with clients to understand their evolving needs and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Proposal Preparation : Prepare detailed proposals, quotations, and contracts for HVAC projects. Ensure accuracy in pricing, specifications, and terms to secure successful sales closures.
  • Networking and Industry Events : Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote our products and services and increase brand visibility within the commercial HVAC sector.
  • Collaboration : Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, project management, and customer support, to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Reporting : Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, including customer interactions, sales activities, and deal progress. Generate regular sales reports to share with the sales manager and upper management.
  • Continuous Learning : Stay up to date with advancements in HVAC technology, industry standards, and regulations to enhance your expertise and better serve customers.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven track record of successful B2B sales experience, preferably within the commercial HVAC industry.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, components, and applications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks to meet sales targets.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales-related tools.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Total Compensation

Total cash compensation = 40% base salary + 60% variable earnings. Base salary is commensurate with years of experience.
