Key Responsibilities as a Caregiver: As a Professional Caregiver with Home Care Assistance, your role is essential in helping clients live safely, comfortably, and with dignity in their own homes. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Personal Care Assistance: Bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene
- Medication Reminders: Helping clients stay on schedule
- Mobility Support: Safe transfers and ambulation with assistive devices up to 150 pounds
- Meal Preparation: Nutritious meals based on client needs and preferences
- Light Housekeeping: Laundry, dishes, and maintaining a clean environment
- Companionship & Engagement: Friendly conversation and meaningful activities
- Transportation: Driving clients to appointments, errands, or social outings (must have a reliable vehicle)
Qualifications: To join our team, you must meet the following requirements:
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- At least 18 years of age
- Minimum of 6 months of verifiable caregiving experience
- Valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, and auto insurance
- Clean criminal background and driving record
- Ability to pass a drug screening during the interview process
